COLUMBIA ENVELOPES EXPEDITER WITH ALL WEATHER CAB ENCLOSURE

Columbia has introduced its new, all weather cab enclosure for the EX21 Expediter.

Manufactured in 14 gauge steel with polycarbonate windshield, the cab enclosure provides passenger protection from the elements while operating outdoors. It is well suited for larger companies who have multiple buildings at one location yet still require the maneuverability this narrow aisle passenger vehicle offers.

The Expediter cab enclosure option is supplied without doors however white steel doors and marine grade yellow-colored vinyl doors are available to complete the package. The vinyl enclosure doors use snap fittings to secure it to the vehicle, and nylon straps with Velcro to secure in a rolled up position near the top.

The cab enclosure accommodates the optional automotive style steering wheel available for the Expedition, and is available in conjunction with Columbia’s recently released, four-wheel version of the Expediter. These multiple alternatives meet even the toughest requirements users may have. Scott Breckley, Vice President of Columbia’s Sales and Marketing said, “The addition of this package of options enhances the ability of our dealer network to reach a new segment of the market.”

The Expediter cab enclosure can even be modified in Columbia’s custom shop as the init enclosed. In this application, the rear deck of the Expediter is open from the operator compartment to permit easy access to equipment and cargo. The easy-release opening mechanism on the inside of the optional steel doors allows quick and convenient exit from either side of the vehicle. The slush paddle handle on the outside of the doors allows easy entry into the cab area without increasing the overall width of the vehicle.

The Expediter cab enclosure is available in bright white, with any color optional. The top is available in white or for an additional charge, can be provided in black.
